WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED IN THESE FEES?
The registration fee does NOT cover uniforms and training kits. Players MUST purchase both uniform home/away kit and training kit. (Typical uniform cycle is two years)
*Optional* Winter Training is NOT included in GVSA Select player club fees. We will be offering age group winter training programs that will be separate cost. These age group winter trainings will all be held at Soccer Zone in Jenison. More details to be announced in the Fall.
If my team decides to play an additional tournament, how much will it cost?
The price is determined by the hosting organization, and usually varies by age bracket. The registration fee and any related travel expense are split among the players on the team roster.
REFUND POLICY NON-INJURY REFUND POLICY
When your player accepts a spot on a AYSO United team, he/she is filling a roster spot and making a commitment to the team for an entire playing year. Each team is formed from a verbal or written commitment, and is finalized with the league when enrollment has been completed. Withdrawing may leave the team in jeopardy of not meeting league rules for minimum number of players. Therefore, when you make your verbal commitment to the coach and make your enrollment/payment to the club, the following situations will apply.

Players who withdraw from a team after enrolling/registering - no refund.
INJURY REFUND POLICY
Club fees are considered payment for the player to hold a roster spot on the team.
Therefore the following will apply:
• PLAYER IS INJURED BEFORE SEASON AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN:
If the player is injured PRIOR to the first practice and can no longer participate with the team through its entirety, the player should send a written refund request and a doctor’s note explaining the injury. The AYSO United Directors will review and issue a full Club fee refund minus any administrative costs involved in initial rostering. The player will be removed from the team roster so another player can take that spot.
• PLAYER IS INJURED DURING SEASON AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RETURN:
If the player is injured AFTER the season has begun and can no longer participate with the team through its entirety, the player should send a written refund request BEFORE the 4th game of the season in which the injury occurred. The request should include a doctor’s note explaining the injury. The AYSO United Directors will review this and award a partial Club fee refund depending on the timing of the injury to the season(s) completion. The player will be removed from the team roster and may not participate in any team activities. If a player is unsure whether they will be able to return to play, please view the next option.
• PLAYER IS INJURED AND WILL RETURN TO PLAY BEFORE END OF PLAYING YEAR:
If the player is injured and wishes to remain on the team roster and participate in any activities they are able to, or they wish to come back to the team after their injury is healed, there is no refund available for Club fees. If they are unable to return by the end of the playing year, a partial credit of player fees may be requested for the following playing year.
• SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES:
Refunds for certain circumstances (moving, loss of employment, etc.) will be reviewed on an individual basis and documentation is required to be considered by the Directors.
